Internet Download Manager (IDM) is a software application for scheduling downloads and increasing your download speed. The application optimizes your Internet connection by allocation all the available Internet bandwidth to the downloads at hand. This tool is also supported by Windows Vista.

2Right-click the link from your browser.
3Click "Download with IDM" menu. This option is available in all IE based (MSN, AOL, Avant) and Mozilla based (Firefox, Safari, Netscape) browsers. Depending on the browser you are using on your Windows Vista computer, you may have to specify the location for the downloading item. On some browsers like Safari, the item will go straight to "Downloads."
